Choose your favorite blue bonnet photo contest!
Springtime in Texas means a time-honored tradition - family pictures in the bluebonnet fields.
Bluebonnets are the Texas State flower and are the most vividly beautiful blue/violet color.
This year I am having such a hard time deciding which group picture to hang on my wall.
I love, love, love this picture below, but I also adore the candid, out-take style below it - there's just something so endearing about the love in the laughter.
So, help me decide!
Leave me a comment with which of the two family group photos you like best.
I'll choose one person to receive a free pattern of choice.

the first one. Very hard decision but this first one is so different it caught my eye immediately.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rose! Such a hard decision!
DeleteI love love love the second one! Candid shots are the best ones, to me! You have a beautiful family, btw :)
ReplyDeleteHolly - I agree...with 3 little boys, rarely is there a "picture perfect" moment, so I've come to appreciate the candid shots. Real life moments!
DeleteI like the first one b/c you can see all of your faces :) Beautiful family <3
ReplyDeleteThank you Diane! I am blessed! I appreciate your kind words.
DeleteI adore the bottom one. I hope you choose it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Rita! I really like that one too! Such a real-life moment.
DeleteI like the bottom one. Feels like a more natural moment caught in time. :)
ReplyDeleteAwe - I agree Heather! TY!
DeleteThe first one.
ReplyDeleteI feel like because everyone is looking at the camera
DeleteAnd, Molly, that is a RARITY for sure! Getting all 5 to look at the camera at once is almost miraculous! ;)
DeleteI like both of them and see why it is such a hard choice. I say the bottom, even though you are not all looking at the camera. It is real, and you all look so happy. I would get the other one in a smaller size and if you had a third you could have the big one in the center.
ReplyDeletePam - thank you! I agree! I just adore the love in the laughter of the candid shot!
ReplyDeleteI love the 3rd one. The family looks so natural and happy! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Danyel! There is love in the laughter for sure!
DeleteI love the candid shot! I would definitely frame that one!
ReplyDeleteThank you TJ! I love it too! Joyful moment captured in time...just aren't enough of those!
DeleteI like either the first one or the third one. There's something about posed pictures that creeps me out just a little bit.
ReplyDeleteHaha Jessica! That made me laugh!
DeleteMorning hun .... I honestly love the second picture, it shows the true love of your family! However for your blog I would say the first one is probably better as it shows you off a little more then the second. You truly have a beautiful family!!
ReplyDeleteGood morning hun to you, Brandi!! Thank you so much for your kind words. Super-sweet way to start my day!
DeleteI loved the second one . Y ou have a very beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I am most certainly blessed! I appreciate your comment!
DeleteI like the second one :)
ReplyDeleteAwe! Thanks Francie!! XOXO
DeleteI love the 3rd or 1st, 3rd one you're all interacting together, and the 1st makes me think you're off to do something fun, and they're not the normal smile look at camera <3 great looking family btw
ReplyDeleteColleen - this is my exact dilemma! I like them both for different reasons. Thank you for your sweet words!!
